Meet our Farm Tour Farmers

Springs Farm

SPRINGS FARM ~ Fort Mill, SC

For more than 80 years, our farm has been dedicating to providing the best peaches around. Over the years, we’ve added strawberries, garden produce, pumpkins, and Carolina Reaper Peppers.

In 1997, we opened our Springs Farm Market where we sell our produce, homemade soft serve ice cream, our very own dessert mixes and savory starters, and local products.

Our 100 acre farm has always prioritized local food. Harvesting only the best fruits and vegetables, we know you’ll love everything we have to offer. Our top quality produce can be found our Springs Farm Market, our Old Peach Stand, and at our sister store The New Peach Stand. Springs Farm Market has fresh produce, baked goods, jarred items, homemade dessert mixes and savory starters, boiled peanuts, and our famous homemade soft serve ice cream. Our original open-air market, the Old Peach Stand, operates each summer when peaches start their season.

Bush-N-Vine Farm

BUSH-N-VINE FARM ~ York, SC

We have been growing fresh fruits and vegetables here at the Bush-N-Vine since 1979. However, the Bush-N-Vine Farm has actually been in the Hall family for much longer—over 150 years! Originally the farm was solely a peach orchard. The building located on our farm in York, South Carolina was used as a peach packing shed in the 1950’s and 60’s. In 1979, Bob Hall reopened the doors using the space as an open air market. In 2014, we moved into our new building.

After graduating from Clemson University in 1980 Bob made farming his career. He has been selling delicious produce in the stand ever since. In 2010, after graduating from Clemson University, Sam Hall joined forces with his dad and started working at the farm full-time. We hope that our family farm will continue providing our customers with the fresh produce they love for many years to come!

Patterson Farms

PATTERSON FARM MARKET & TOURS ~ Mount Ulla, NC

Doug Patterson, his wife, Michelle, his brother, Randall, and sister-in-law, Nora Patterson, own and operate Patterson Farm, Inc., a commercial fruit and vegetable farm, packing, and wholesale distribution center in China Grove, NC; Patterson Farm Market & Tours, Inc. and Patterson Repack. Our family has been farming in Rowan County for 125 years and is six generations strong. Each year, we produce more than 200 acres of tomatoes, pick-your-own strawberries, locally grown vegetables, and holiday poinsettias.

Patterson Farm Market & Tours is your destination for hands-on, family-fun farm experiences. We are proud to be a tradition for families and groups throughout the region! Whether you are visiting us on a school field trip, on a weekend during our fall festival, to pick springtime strawberries with your family, or just to stop in our market for homemade ice cream, we welcome you to our farm. We hope to see you on the farm soon for our many activities and events throughout the year.

Carrigan Farms

CARRIGAN FARMS ~ Mooresville, NC

Carrigan Farms is a 5th generation, family farm specializing in growing quality fruits and vegetables, educational school tours and field trips, weddings, swim parties, and other special events. We’ve been farming this piece of dirt for over 100 years; our roots run deep. From asparagus to zucchini and everything in between, we are just a BIG garden.

The Carrigans settled in the Mooresville area in the 1750’s with ancestors buried at local Coddle Creek ARP church. Scots-Irish immigrants, they are hard working, independent folks. Since 1902 the Carrigan family has been farming at their current location in Mooresville. Initially a tobacco and cotton farm, the previous generations transitioned to a Guernsey dairy and row crop operation. In 1975, when current owner Doug Carrigan graduated from NC State University with a horticulture degree, the fruit and vegetable farm was born. Quality fruits and vegetables are grown throughout the year with primary focus on crops such as asparagus, strawberries, apples and pumpkins. Additionally, the Carrigans host kids of all ages for apple and pumpkin picking, educational field trips, and terrifying haunted evenings during the Halloween season. Recent times have brought visitors to the farm wanting to experience the beauty of the open space. The Quarry at Carrigan Farms is the perfect private location for weddings, swim parties, company picnics, proms, formals and church gatherings.
