Easy Strawberry Cobbler

Filling:

1 stick (1/4 lb) butter
4 cup strawberries
1 cup sugar

Batter:

1 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375F. Melt 1 stick butter in 9×13 inch pan. Mix together 4 cups strawberries and 1 cup sugar. Put in saucepan, bring to boil.

Mix together second 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and 1 cup milk. Blend until moistened. Pour batter over melted butter. Put strawberry mixture over batter. Bake 30 minutes.

Delicious with vanilla ice cream.
